As a person living in France, having the opportunity to buy cheap filters at IKEA is a huge advantage.

I currently own 4 Nukits because I liked my first one so much I immediately decided we needed one in every room. There so much quieter and less obtrusive than commercial air purifiers which tend to be weirdly rounded, heavy, and take up lots of space compared to their size. With their practical shape, the Nukits tuck away neatly into corners, as long as you position them so the sides have some room of course. They’re also not an eye sore, which I do value.

They’re fairly quiet, and I don’t usually run them on full speed. They run permanently, though, and they’re never heard on calls during meetings nor do they bother us at night. And with the speed controllers, it’s easy to vary speed as necessary. Most importantly, they work. I have MCAS and have been struggling with mold spores as we live in a humid but warm region. Since getting these, I’ve been feeling much better. And the ability to turn them up when I work out in my room has helped a bunch too.

If I could change one thing, I would ask for a list of components to be included in the package, so you can check right away if you have everything. It would also be helpful if you’re not experienced with building PCs—I had no idea what everything was called and what it would look like. So I struggled a bit building my first Nukit and it took me a while to figure out that the four-way converter cable hadn’t made it into my package. When I reached out to Nukit they helped me figure out the problem, apologised, and offered to refund me if I purchased a converter myself. I appreciated the helpfulness. However, I think I could have figured it out much faster if there had been a list of components/items.

With 4 Nukits, I like to joke that we’re 1 more short of the Nukits On The Block ;)

I don't know how to evaluate the effectiveness of the light (I trust them), but the occupancy sensor is so good I wondered if it was broken. Always triggered faster than I could move to see it turn on. Family was making fun of me because I got out a mirror to make sure it was turning off after everyone left.

After I set it up, it was so quiet my wife asked if I had turned it on (while on 60% fan speed).

I loved the ease of assembly and the clear instructions. It's clear that the folks at Nukit spent a good deal trying to make this as easy and as accessible as possible. Great job!

I am very impressed with the Tempest Pro. I was a little intimidated by the building process at first but it was pretty straightforward once I got started.
I can't believe just how quiet it is. I regularly have to check that it is still turned on/up because I can't hear it! It can run on full speed without the noise interfering with everyday life.
I would highly recommend it and hope to get another in future.

I really like it, i would never convince myself to create it so buying it was way to go and i don't regret it.

you buy two ikea filters and 4 cheap fans, add esp, wire it and ready to go in your home assistant. on 20% unaudible.

A well designed, well made, and complete filter kit. Very quiet and with great performance. The unit comes very well packaged for safe shipment. I've been looking for a great filer kit for some time and this is it. Everything you need is supplied except the filters. Assembly was easy and enjoyable too. Just be sure to read over all available information carefully and take your time, as there are a few options regarding speed control placement (I used the internal mounting with external knob option). Highly recommended!

I own 8 NuKit Lanterns and currently have them all strategically deployed at a 3-week professional gathering. Purchased mine about a month ago and I love it. Feels really solid, not afraid my children might break it, which would be a concern with CR box models sold by other companies. Mine came with a speed controller and remote, which was a surprise to me as the website didn't mention them. Maybe I got them by mistake? Overall great product. Came very well packaged with lots of foam cut outs to protect the parts. Really nothing negative to say about it, Nukit did a really great job on this.

I have 3 of these in my 3 story home. One for each floor to compliment my Merv-16+UV HVAC system. They work wonderfully well! The AQI in my area outside is usually quite good, but due to Canadian Wildfires, it is the 4th worst AQI in the world right now. But not inside the house! The PM 2.5 concentration in the house is nominal-0, perfect. It jumps a bit somethings because no house is perfectly sealed, but the Tempest brings it back down fairly rapidly.

I'd like a 4th one of these to be honest. When they come back in stock I will probably grab another one. Sleep, work, relaxation in the house have all improved with this. Even compared to the Winix units we used to have where these are now!
