Favorite filter fan box- no duct tape!

I receive my Tempest kit, which was very well packaged. I found the instructions to be clear and easy to assemble. It looks so so much better than my DIY duct taped filter fan boxes that I've been building to keep myself and my family safer in this on-going pandemic. The design with attention to detail is important to me- such as the rubber feet on the bottom so wood floor isnt scratched. It looks great and I enjoyed putting it together. It is very quiet, the noise is really not noticeable at all. Thank-you for having this professional grade option for us!

The Blue Air and Honeywell HEPA's are in storage now.

I love the Nukit Tempest. I live in California so we have pollen in spring, wildfire smoke in the fall and Covid year round. The Tempest is a sturdy and professional looking build that I expect to last. All that needs changing are the filters every 6 months or so, all the other parts are off the shelf if they wear out. And while that is great I am most happy with how quiet it is while on. I used to have to turn the HEPA filters off when on the phone. Tempest is a quiet white noise that just does not interfere in any way.

It's really quiet. Excellent customer service.

Got one for the father-in-law. He leaves it on 24-7. Doesn't mind because it's so quiet. (I configured his unit to run the fans at max speed.)

Assembly is straightforward. Would recommend following the well thought out instructions for easy mode.
With filters installed, it's pretty sturdy. Could probably sit on it, but you'd be sitting on the fans.

I got the recommended fans and I'd say it's quiet enough for the library, even at 3 feet away and max speed. I would compare the noise level of the Tempest using the recommended fans running at max speed to that of the Coway Airmega 1512HH on its middle setting.

Since the Tempest uses standard PC case fans, you can look online for reviews and pick the fans for your specific needs (noise level, airflow, even lights). You can use an adjustible power source for further control.

Good attention to detail. Since I was sending this to my FIL, I ran my finger over all the edges to check or sharp points and found none. All of the edges were smooth, even the screw holes. Pretty nice. Safe to say I'd be comfortable letting my niece assemble it. No worry about accidental cuts from sharp edges.

Excellent customer service and they take pride in the quality of their products. I had a problem with one of the rivet nuts (screw hole) on my unit. I was able to fix it myself pretty easily but wanted to let them know in case it wasn't a one-off occurrence. They immediately offered to ship a replacement unit. (I refused, because mine was now fully functional after the fix). They committed to addressing the problem in the next batch.

After this interaction, I'm totally confident that if I somehow get a lemon in the future, they'll make it right. That's how you get a customer for life.
