The Nukit Tempest - PC Fan Air Purifier Kit (International)

This device keeps my indoor ventilation at just the right amount. Previously, my ventilator would run continously which uses extra electricity and caused extra energy loss and dries wintertime air too much. Now, when occupants are in the house, the ventilator runs and as occupants leave, the ventilator turns off. Simple, great device!

Absolutely LOVE my torches, I am so glad I bought them! Super professionally packed, they are high quality and easy to use. I just took them along to a painting course as added protection in addition to my FFP3 and immediately felt a lot safer. I can highly recommend them!

The first set of Nukit Torch lights got so much use that I needed another set, so that each family member can use what is needed at different places! Additionally I purchased 2 Lanterns, to use in my house and at my workplace where colleagues frequently come in coughing and sniffing.

The Lanterns are easy to install, the motion sensor works great and the timer in it is clever and convenient.

Nukit Torches + PC fan air filters + leaving windows open a little + CO2 monitoring = a safer small weekly coffee-hour gathering with friends when it has to move indoors for inclement weather. Thoughtful, through packing. It's going to arrive safe. Easy to build, just purchased the recommended parts mentioned in the documentation. Looks nice and unobtrusive. You won't know it is there because it is so quiet. It's great to have the ability to easily swap out parts if they break, without having to replace the whole unit. I doubt that is going to happen anytime soon however since the recommended parts are of high quality. Thanks so much for making this kit available!

Good battery life, works as intended. Having 4 units makes battery management and storing units at different places manageable. Very happy with purchase.

Third party testing increases confidence. I’d like if the product came with a far UVC test card to ensure units working as intended, but they can be gotten easily.

Good construction, but I would not want to drop-test. A weighted “seat” or charging cradle option would be useful, and I would buy two. Hopefully a revision will make operation while plugged in (charge and operate) an option for places where use for long periods of time is needed (e.g., workspace.)

LED indicators can be slightly hard to read in bright outdoor sun, have to hold unit close to face.

Case is slightly too snug for my taste, and the inserts between units don’t “stick” inside as well as I would have liked. The box inner packaging holder was much nicer.

When I saw this product, I knew immediately it plugged a hole in my home protection. I have an elderly parent in my home and want to protect them from what folks bring into the house from outside.

Well made, esthetically pleasing in the packaging and design. Making a lot of use with them and couldn't be simpler to operate.

Almost 5 years into the pandemic and I have so many layers of protection in place that adding UVC seemed like a no brainer.

I’m used to dealing with the doubting Thomas’s so I also ordered a reuseable UVC Quantadose card from the online rainforest so that I can demonstrate to friends and relatives that it isn’t just pretty mood lighting.

Having the 3rd party testing and links to research all in one place on Nukits has also been super helpful and I really appreciate the amount of effort put into collating all the data so that we can make informed choices.

Listen to me, even if you know nothing about putting pc towers together or assembling electronics, you can do this.

I have an elderly parent and with not just the rise of COVID but an assortment of respiratory diseases and virus, unwanted to be proactive in preventing a disaster for my father and family. This product came highly recommended and has not disappointed.

It arrived meticulously packaged, better than a lot of parts and components I've ordered from mainstream brands. Plus it looks exactly as depicted in videos and on the website. High quality components and ready to assemble immediately.

You are given everything you need. Just follow the video and/or read the instructions on the website. Done in no time at all, easy to maintain and I've combined this with the CO2 switch sold separately so that I don't need to think about it, everything is automated.

I have a ton of respect for this engineering.

Early in the pandemic, I bought several different HEPA air purifiers and also built a CR box to help my family reduce our chances of contracting COVID-19. However, the CR box was bulky and noisy, and the various HEPA air purifiers all needed proprietary replacement filters.

In early 2024 I learned about the Nukit Tempest, and I decided to order one as soon as they were available.

Shortly thereafter, the Nukit Tempest arrived in a box, and the first thing that I noticed was how meticulously the component pieces were packed in the box. I had separately ordered the six fans, fan grills, and power cord and followed the assembly instructions on the Nukit website to assemble the Tempest. Assembly only required a small Phillips screwdriver and a pair of scissors, and in about an hour I had the Tempest assembled.

Once assembled, I noticed several things about the Tempest. One, it is very quiet. It’s night vs day compared to a CR box. Two, the craftsmanship and material quality are first rate. I expect the Tempest to last for years, if not forever . Third, if a fan, filter, or cable were to need replacing, I could easily manage it thanks to having assembled the Tempest myself and having gained the practical knowledge of how the Tempest is literally put together.

Fast forward to the present. The Tempest is now my favorite air purifier. I’ve since bought five more Tempests, including two for my son’s school classroom. I’m very grateful to Nukit for making the Tempest available.

We needed a nearly-silent purifier for my husband's classroom. He's a computer science teacher and at a quick glance, this looks like a large gaming PC. It took less than an hour to build and looks very sleek—and, most importantly, is very very quiet. He's thrilled with the volume and the complete unobtrusiveness of the unit.

I very much appreciate the innovation, function, form, and ethics behind this set of devices. It is important to me to be able to approach airborne pathogen risk reduction from a range if layered approaches, and having this as one more tool in the toolkit for risk reduction, along with masking, airflow considerations, testing, etc., is reassuring. The product is well made, well packaged, and aesthetically pleasing. I personally use it when traveling, particularly when dining outside at night when there is no sunlight to provide the germicidal UV. I do not rely on it or any strategy for complete protection, but very much appreciate the ability to add more risk reduction to the mix. Thanks, Cyber Night Market!

As someone who is not great and building things, this was fairly easy and straightforward to assemble after getting it in the mail and following the online instructions.
The design is very clever - filters fit nicely and the box has ample room and form for great customization, so I was able to swap in some nice computer fans that I liked.
It's not too loud and is very sturdy. The amazon links to recommended products was also very helpful for someone as not-knowledgeable as myself. Extra nice that extra screws etc. were included because I definitely lost some in the building process (I put one down somewhere and forever forgot where).
